SKF China Investment Co., Ltd. and Baosteel Equipment Maintenance Co., Ltd. to jointly build a joint venture company; the company will focus on the Baosteel Group of bearings and related products within the maintenance services.
Baosteel Equipment Maintenance Co., Ltd. and SKF China Investment Co., Ltd. invested 22 million yuan to establish a joint venture with the company; company will have about 30 employees working in Shanghai. SKF will hold a majority of the shares and is responsible for corporate governance. The new company is China¡¯s Baoshan Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. and SKF company in March 2005 signed a strategic cooperation partner results; it will be the green steel company Baosteel Group Corporation to build a platform.
