Self-aligning ball bearing Feature

Self-aligning ball bearing has two rows of balls. There is a common spherical raceway whose center of curvature accords with the bearing center. Even through the inner race, the steel balls and the holder incline relative to the outer race, the bearing can rotate. So the bearing is self-aligning, and will not be affected by shaft disalignment relative to the bearing box. The self-aligning ball bearing is mainly subject to radial load. It can also be subject to a minimum of axial load, but it usually can not be subject to pure axial load.

The self-aligning ball bearing is applicable for occasions with sizable shaft flexion or shaft disalignment , such as the transmission shaft of precision meter, quiet motor, car, motorcycle, woodworker and textile machinery. It can also be applied on mining machine, electromechanical device, plastics machinery, office device, medical appliance, body-building and sports goods, and common machine etc. It is one of the bearings most widely used in machinery industry.

¡ñ¡¡Product Classification

Self-aligning ball bearings produced by ZWZ are mainly divided into two types:

1. Self-aligning ball bearing with cylindrical bore

2. Self-aligning ball bearing with conical bore

Self-aligning ball bearing with cylindrical bore has two rows of steel balls and a contour raceway on the outer race. The self-aligning ball bearing can self align, and can also be subject to angular error between shaft and shaft block. So the self-aligning ball bearing is applicable for working condition of axis deviation caused by shaft flexion and disalignment. The friction of the self-aligning ball bearing is the lowest of all the rolling bearings, so there is only little exotherm even in high-speed situation.

Self-aligning ball bearing with conical bore is provided with characteristics of self-aligning ball bearing with cylindrical bore, but its internal bore, which is mounted on the windage of the tunable bearing on the taper shaft, is conical bore (conventional taper 1:12). This type of bearing is mostly applied on double carrying shaft that greatly bends affected by load and components that strict concentricity is not guaranteed by the two seat bores. The self-aligning ball bearing is mainly subject to radial load, and can also be subject to a minimum of axial load. But it usually can not subject to pure axial load. This type of bearing is provided with a commonality second only to deep groove ball bearing, and its limit speed is lower than deep groove ball bearing of the same specification, but its bearing capacity is greater than deep groove ball bearing.

¡ö¡¡Size Range

The fundamental dimensions of ZWZ self-aligning ball bearings are listed in the dimension datasheet
Inside diameter range: 25mm¡«1100mm
Outside diameter range: 52mm¡«1300mm
Width range: 15mm¡«300mm

Tolerance

ZWZ standard type self-aligning ball bearings are provided with plain grade, and they all accord with GB307.1.

¡¡Radial Windage

ZWZ standard type self-aligning ball bearings are provided with internal clearance of C2,standard£¨CN£©,C3,C4 and C5 grade, and they all accord with GB4604. Self-aligning ball bearing with conical bore takes C3 clearance as standard. Please refer to preface table for details of radial windage value, the value applies to bearing not mounted or without load. Bearings whose internal clearance is greater or less than normal value can be produced according to user¡¯s requirement.

¡¡Holder

The holder usually adopts stamping holder, brass entity holder and nylon holder, and the material is respectively steel sheet, brass and syntheticresin etc.

When the bearing outer diameter D≥200mm, steel sheet (belt) stamping holder is adopted, and the postposition code of the holder is not marked.

When the bearing outer diameter D>200mm, brass entity holder is adopted, and the postposition code of the holder is not marked.
Bearings with nylon holder can operate at a maximum temperature of +120¡æ. Brass entity holder is considerable for bearing continuously operating in high temperature or bad condition. You can contact ZWZ in advance if bearings with non-standard holder are required.
